Ten Gods Calculator
Read the labelled relationship between every visible stem on your chart and your Day Master. Enter your Gregorian birth date and time below; the same reference-backed Bazi engine that powers the home calculator returns the Ten Gods (十神) for the year, month, day, and hour pillars, alongside the fixed Hidden Stems each pillar sits on.
What this page is. The Ten Gods are the five-element-cycle relationship between any heavenly stem on the chart and your Day Master, refined by yin/yang polarity. The labels are structural — they describe the chart, not a forecast. Every label is deterministic: same input, same label. The page renders the visible Ten Gods together with the fixed Hidden Stems so you can see how each label is anchored.
Unknown birth time. Tick the checkbox and the engine will omit the hour pillar entirely — it will NOT guess an hour to make the chart look complete. For the background on the Ten Gods vocabulary, see the Ten Gods explainer; for the fixed Hidden Stems map that anchors the labels, see the Hidden Stems explainer.

Ten Gods — frequently asked questions
The Ten Gods (十神) are ten fixed labels that describe how each heavenly stem on the chart relates to the Day Master. Each label is derived deterministically from two inputs: the five-element relationship between the two stems (same element, produced, controlled, controls, or produces) and their yin/yang polarity match. Same input → same label. There is no scoring and no judgement in the derivation.
First, the engine identifies the Day Master from the day pillar. Then it takes every visible heavenly stem (the top character of each pillar) AND every fixed Hidden Stem that lives inside each Earthly Branch — the Earthly Branches have a published Hidden Stems table with main, secondary, and residual layers; the engine never invents hidden stems. Each of those stems is compared to the Day Master, and the five-element + yin/yang rule produces one of the ten Ten Gods labels. The result is structural: it describes the chart, not a forecast.
Tick the "I do not know the birth time" checkbox. The engine omits the hour pillar entirely — it does NOT invent one to make the chart look complete. The Ten Gods for the year, month, and day pillars are still computed, and the Ten Gods for any hidden stem in those pillars is still reported. Any Ten Gods label that would have come from the hour pillar is omitted; the result is a partial read, not a fabricated full chart.
No. The Ten Gods are structural labels that describe relationships between stems. They are not wealth scores, marriage predictions, or career forecasts. The chart engine applies the labels deterministically and reports them exactly as derived; any reading beyond that is left to a separate interpretation step.
